Every Atmos layout is written as three numbers separated by decimal points: main channels, subwoofers, then height channels. A layout with no third number, plain 5.1 or 7.1, has no dedicated height speakers at all, even if the receiver can technically decode an Atmos soundtrack.

5.1.2 is the layout most Atmos soundbars ship as out of the box: five main channels, usually built into the bar itself plus wireless or wired rear speakers, one subwoofer, and two up-firing height channels.
